A Palestinian player from Gaza congratulates Club Palestino upon their centennial anniversary.

The original video comes from here: https://www.facebook.com/Palestino/videos/293116268630606/,
part of the Club Palestino Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/Palestino.

As you can see, the Chilean soccer team: Club Palestino, and the Palestinian cause have become mutually identified in both Chile and the disputed territories.

Shabab al Khalil is a soccer team in Hebron. I took the liberty of translating it, as most people would not know what Shabab al-Khalil means. Al-Khalil is the Arabic name for Hebron.

Controversial Hebron Visit

A Chilean Delegation made a trip to Hebron (2012).

This is the Palestinian view, below:

HEBRON (Ma’an) — Israeli settlers accosted on Tuesday members of a Chilean Senate delegation and Hebron governor Kamel Hamid near Ibrahimi mosque, onlookers said.

Settlers shouted obscenities at the delegation and told them they were in a “Jewish area” during a tour of the Old City, they said.

Israeli forces moved in to keep the two sides apart.

The head of the delegation, Andre Salvidor, said the incident was “worse than they expected.”

SOME OBSERVATIONS

The Palestinian Authority is heavily invested in Chile. They do a lot of propagandizing, and have won a lot of sympathy from Palestinian-Chileans. Political delegations from Chile to “Palestine” are common.

In the visit below, the PA Ambassador to Chile is visiting Iquique, a heavily ethnic-Arab (15% Arabic) town in the north of Chile.

I believe the PA Ambassador to Chile also shows up here in this Arab language documentary.

Aug 28, 2019 – Edited: I had to remove a (dead) video, and some comments concerning the video, which would have made no sense without the video. It is a pity, as it was a great video; but I guess someone was embarrassed.

The video had showed a shouting match between a Chilean delegation from Chile and some Jewish settlers. Apparently, it was taken down.
