Anti-Zionists were acquitted in 2010

This was a protest celebrating the acquittal of some anti-Zionist leaders in Argentina. They were charged with hate crimes.

It occurred in 2010, but it shows the increasing anti-Zionism in South America from the left.

What is interesting is that the Jewish community could persuade the government to lodge charges.

Argentina has a large Jewish Community. It is shrinking, but it has clout. That being said, the leaders were acquitted.

My Spanish is not so great, but the commentator to the left is Pedro Brieger, an Argentina Academic-Reporter – of Jewish background – who teaches at the Univeristy of Buenos Aires as well as doing TV spots.

The supposedly insulting video about Mohammed is worldwide news, especially in Latin America where there is a large Arab-Latin constituency.

As noted: Because of the large amount of Arabs in Latin America, the UN is asking the Latins to give more aid to the Palestinians.

Chile, with its large, and elite, Palestinian community would be a center for this.
