Warning: Red/Green Alliance Full Blast on Chile

The show is called: Window on Palestine
Warning: HispanTV is an Iranian-Venezuelan propaganda outlet

Of course, in politics, Red usually stands for leftist extemism. Green usually stands for Islamic extremism. One would think they would be at opposite ends of the political spectrum.

In Chile, they are mixing.

Why?

Because Chile has the largest community of Palestinians outside the Arab world. They are called Chilestinos, and almost all of them are Christian. They number 500,000 and are roughly three times the number of Christians left in the Holy Land.

And they have a hero: Daniel Jadue, a leftist politician in Recoleta, a neighborhood in the capital province of Santiago, Chile.

Jadue was born into a Palestinian Christian Chilean (Chilestino) family. And, most notably, he is strongly anti-Zionist.

Big deal, one might say, but he is one of Chile’s most powerful politicians and media personalities. He has made a name for himself.

In the year 2020, the Simon Wiesenthal Center listed his behavior as one of the ten worst antisemitic incidents of the year.

For your knowledge (and horror), HispanTV, which is an Iranian-Venezuelan propaganda outlet is broadcasting and netcasting the political exploits of this Daniel Jadue.

Source: Simon Wiesenthal Center: SWC’s Top Ten Worst Global Anti-Semitic Incidents for 2020

Architect Daniel Jadue is the mayor of Recoleta, part of Santiago, the capital. Jadue, a member of the Communist Party, is a national figure and mentioned as a potential future President. Using municipal funds to finance pro-BDS and antiIsrael activities, Mayor Jadue targets the Jewish community with pernicious smears echoing The Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

He charges Jews control of the media and dual loyalty: “It is an insult that the State of Israel through its agents here in Chile wants to import the strife” … “they have to learn and define if they are Chilean citizens.” Last year, Recoleta’s Municipal Council passed a resolution stating, “Palestinian people have been the victim of a deliberate plan of violence and terror by armed Zionist groups …” Jadue insists, “… The leaders of the Jewish community in Chile act on behalf of the State of Israel in Chile…,” adding, “I get along very well with the Jews, with the Zioniist I have certain problems.” Jadue is always referring to Chile’s Jews as the “Zionist” community of Chile.

Iran’s HispanTV (which operates out of Venezuela) is lionizing Jadue in some recent reports and trailers.

Think about it. A Chilean politician landed on the Simon Weisenthal’s Top Ten List of Antisemitic Incidents.

In the USA, this guy’s career would be over in a heartbeat. In Chile, Jadue actually ran for president and was a serious contender in 2021, in spite of the Simon Wiesenthal Center’s condemnation of his behavior.

Recently, he got into more trouble with the Jewish Community in Chile.

The group also criticized the position of Minister Camila Vallejo, who during the morning assured that it was “not up to the government” to enter into this controversy. “The spokesperson is wrong, this is not an ‘international’ issue, because we are talking about Chileans of Jewish origin, not the Middle East conflict,” she noted.

This is no minor politician in Chile – which is now a first world country.

This guy is a major player in Chilean politics, much bigger than the squad in American politics. This guy has a brain, and a power base. And the Chilean Jewish community is not happy with him.

He recently gave a talk where he presented the book: Zionism: the Ideology that Exterminates.

We have no one like this in American politics – at least not this strong.

(Even after he was listed as antisemitic)

Now, it is true that there is a conservative element that is presently resisting this, but for how long?

And yes, the JEWISH COMMUNITY IS VERY UPSET WITH THIS.

So why isn’t the Jewish community fighting back?

They are trying to, but the Palestinians in Chile outnumber the Jews about 25 to 1. Though Chile has a large community of Jews for South America, they only number around 20,000 to the Chilestino’s numbers of approximately 500,000.

Moreover, the Palestinian community in Chile is rich and well off.

The advantage is totally on the Chilestino side.

Evangelicals versus Iran in Latin America

Evangelicals versus Iran in Latin America

Iran’s influence is continuing to grow, not only in the support of Hezbollah operatives, but especially through the netcasting and broadcasting of HispanTV, which sends out Iranian propaganda to the continent. And Iran assists the dictatorial regime in Venezuela.

WASHINGTON —
Iran is striving to expand its influence in fellow U.S. adversary Venezuela, which is hosting an Iranian cultural fair this week and seeking Iranian assistance to revive the ailing Venezuelan energy industry.

Iran is troublemaking in the Western Hemisphere, particularly in this area of propaganda.

Whatever one thinks of pro-Jewish or pro-Israel lobbies in the United States, they are an antidote to some really ugly antisemitic disinformation out there. Indeed, Latin America is often drenched with anti-Israel agitprop that would not have been tolerated in the USA, until recently, which is a sad commentary on recent developments.

The anti-Israel indoctrination that America is sadly seeing now, Latin America has been drenched with for a long time.

Yet, oddly, Iran’s influence is more political than religious.

Why not religious?

Because Islam is being countered in Latin America – not by Jewish influence, as the Jewish population is usually small – but rather by a large and growing Evangelical Christian movement.

In Brazil, the population is 31% Evangelical.
In El Salvador, the population is 40% Evangelical — more than Catholics.
In Guatemala, the population is 40% Evangelical.
In Honduras, the population is 40% Evangelical.
In Chile, the population is 18% Evangelical.
In Argentina, the population is 15% Evangelical.

These Evangelicals tend to be very pro-Zionist.

So Iran’s influence is limited to the political arena, which is scary enough, though even in politics, the Evangelical church is competing successfully.

In the case of Chile and Brazil, the growing Evangelical power base has not stopped the governments from criticizing Israel, but it will prevent some of the Latin governments from going too far.

In one nation, Guatemala, the Evangelicals have made the country very friendly to Israel.

El Salvador is particularly interesting, as it has an influential Palestinian (chiefly Christian) minority population. The Palestinian Christians tend to be more Catholic or Eastern Orthodox, though.

Their present president, Nayib Bukele, is of Palestinian origin, yet somewhat pro-Israel.

So the Evangelicals are winning.

A New Jewish State: Plan Andinia?! You Gotta Be Kidding!

jewish-patagonia-1000x600

Sometimes you have to wonder if the safe assumption is that people are generally idiots, because this next story is proof that people will believe the most ridiculous things.

Worse yet, this idiocy is being pushed by Iran’s HispanTV. HispanTV is a propaganda outlet which, sadly, has influence in South America.

But first, we have to do a backgrounder.

WHAT IS PATAGONIA?

patagonia-red-wikipedia-map
Patagonia is in red.
Modified from Wikipedia Original.

Patagonia is the southern most region of South America, split between both Argentina and Chile. It was settled – by white governments – very late in history, only by the last quarter of the nineteenth century.

Until then, it was very sparsely populated – chiefly by native Mapuche and Tehuelche people – and up for grabs. Indeed Chile and Argentina vied for the area. They only agreed to split it around 1879, when Chile was at war with Peru and Bolivia.

So to Europeans, it was considered available for the taking, not really settled by anyone.

THE ORIGINAL ZIONISTS CONSIDERED ARGENTINA?

When Herzl published THE JEWISH STATE in 1896, his goal was to set up a state for the Jewish people, as an ethnic group … an ethnostate, where Jews would be safe. The security of the Jewish people was the primary issue. The location of this Jewish State was of secondary concern. Since the Holy Land was then controlled by Ottoman Turkey, Herzl pondered if areas of Argentina (which was then sparsely populated, even by whites) would make an agreeable area for a Jewish state.

In fact, Herzl wrote in the Jewish State …

PALESTINE OR ARGENTINE?

Shall we choose Palestine or Argentine? We shall take what is given us, and what is selected by Jewish public opinion. The Society will determine both these points.

Argentine is one of the most fertile countries in the world, extends over a vast area, has a sparse population and a mild climate. The Argentine Republic would derive considerable profit from the cession of a portion of its territory to us. The present infiltration of Jews has certainly produced some discontent, and it would be necessary to enlighten the Republic on the intrinsic difference of our new movement.

However, even though Patagonia was not spelled out as the specific area in mind, it surely was considered.

It was true that Argentina was in debt and could use the money. It was true that Argentina was sparsely populated and could have spared a province or two.

Indeed, a Jewish philanthropist, Baron Maurice de Hirsch, had already set up a Jewish community [old video from 2011] in the Sante Fe Province of Argentina, in the subtropical pampas, northwest of Buenos Aires. He claimed to have secured promises from Argentine authorities to set up an autonomous province.

Source: 130 Jewish families arrived in Buenos Aires – World Jewish Congress.

On 14 August 1889, 130 Jewish families fleeing antisemitism and persecution in the Russian Empire arrived in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to restart their lives and begin a Jewish community. While the 824 Russian Jews were not the first Jews to arrive in Argentina, they were the first to establish a Jewish agricultural settlement in South America.

ARGENTINA WAS DISCUSSED AT THE FIRST ZIONIST CONGRESS

At the First Zionist Congress in Basel, Switzerland, in 1897, the idea was brought up.

Source: The Jewish Homeland – Rabbi Wein

[Emphasis Mine]

[Baron Hirsch] claimed that the Argentinean government acquiesced in this project and would cooperate fully in creating a Jewish autonomous state in Argentina. The representative of Baron Hirsch spoke for three and a half hours explaining the plan and pledging the resources of Baron Hirsch to its fulfillment. At midnight, after Hirsch’s representative finally finished his presentation and sat down, an old, stooped figure arose. He was Rabbi Shmuel Mohilever, the rabbi of Biyalistok and one of the founders of Chovevei Tziyon. He said: “May the Lord bless Baron Hirsch for his interest and endeavors and grant him long life and success. But we are going only to the Land of Israel.” And that statement ended the meeting.

However, the delegates at that Zionist Congress insisted on returning to the Holy Land. They would accept nothing less. The idea of a Patagonian Jewish state should have died then and there, but not among conspiracy theorists.

There is a belief among some anti-semitic South Americans, as well as among some Palestinian-Chileans, that Israel still wants to set up a Jewish state in Patagonia (both in Argentina and Chile), as a backup plan, should Israel ever fall.

In 2013, a Chilean senator, Eugenio Tuma, of Palestinian extraction, accused Israel of mapping out Southern Chile, with an eye to taking over Patagonia.

The irony is that it is NOT Jews, but rather Arabs, which have flooded into South America.

Yet, the Andinia Plan, which sounds like lunacy to American ears, can get real consideration in South American cicles. The idea may be preposterous, but people still believe it.

This has led to this:

The documentary above is generally considered to be antisemitic in nature, yet there is a constituency in South America that still believes it.

This may be a sad commentary on human beings in general.

Even were someone antisemitic, reason alone should lead one to recognize Plan Andinia as preposterous.

Worrisome Iranian Propaganda in South America

Worrisome Iranian Propaganda in South America

YouTube removed the video. I was talking about below.

HispanTV is Iranian propaganda, and they are broadcasting to South America. NOT GOOD!

Iranian propaganda has been banned from satellites in Europe and America, but it is allowed in South America.

Source: Forbes – 2019

Google has acted against two Iranian state broadcasters, Press TV and Hispan TV, blocking access “without warning” to their YouTube and Gmail accounts.

According to Israeli press reports, this came as a response to the publication of incendiary, false accusations that Israel had been conducting medical experiments on Palestinian prisoners. Google declined to comment on the reason for the blocks, but there has been an intensifying crackdown on Iranian social media in light of the U.S. government tightening restrictions on the country.

Apparently, HispanTV set up another YouTube channel to defeat the Google’s block.

In this case, the video was about some Arabs in Gaza protesting the upcoming Israeli annexation.

In Latin America, lobbying for Israel is rather weak, so there is no strong counterbalance to anti-Zionist propaganda, as there would be in the United States.
