This was a wedding in Lebanon, with guess what?!

Brazilian SAMBA!

How do I know it was Christian.

Well, because the Muslims banned Samba from the Muslim areas of Lebanon.

“A protest by Muslim clerics torpedoed a Brazilian samba show in the Lebanese city of Tire on Thursday, local officials said.

A statement by the clerics condemned plans for the open-air display by a dance troupe that has been touring Lebanon.

`We support tourism but are against obscenity,` said Sheikh Ali Yassin, who heads a group of clerics in the predominantly Shi`ite Muslim city.”

Lebanon isn`t a hardline Islamic outpost like Iran or Saudi Arabia, nevertheless Muslim clerics never cease to quench all expressions of joy.

Brazilian samba troupes include musicians and scantily clad dancers, but even the most repressed individuals usually get caught up in the excitement and revelry.

To be fair to the Muslims, this is what they were protesting. A Brazilian Cultural exchange program in 2009 caused a bit of a scandal. It was a bit risqué.

Seeing that Mosque behind those semi-naked women: PRICELESS!

Central Lebanon is Christian. Beirut is half-Christian, so you could get away with it. But in South Lebanon or North Lebanon, the Mullahs would have ordered a violent response.

How are you going to keep your women in veils and hijabs when the Brazilians arrive in town? The mullah’s complaint was not really about obscenity; it was about maintaining control over their women.

But the cultural excange does run both ways.

Lebanon now has a Tango festival.

Of course, this all is the relic of Christian tolerance. The Christians are leaving; and once they are gone, Lebanon will revert to Muslim tyranny.

This is a movie, released in 2008, about a Lebanese immigrant to Brazil.

It lies in one point. Until about 30 years, almost all Lebanese immigrants to Brazil were Christian. (I got this complaint from a Lebanese I met in a chatrooom, who was upset that the title character was a Muslim.)

The movie was a Brazilian-Lebanese co-production.

I do not speak Portuguese but you can still watch the video. The Brazilians are celebrating 130 years of Lebanese immigration to Brazil.

Almost all of these immigrants were Christian, no matter what the present politically correct practice of including Muslims says.

They Won’t Know What Hit Them

Do not get the impression that the Triple Point is nothing but smuggling. It is a vibrant commerical center.

It is next to the Iguaçu/Iquazu Waterfalls; the border between Argentina and Brazil, and one of the most beautiful cataracts on the planet. It is a major tourist attraction.

Well, these happy Pentecostal Christians decided to offer free hugs to everyone; obviously with the intent of winning everyone to Christ.

Now, the Triple Frontier cities: Foz do Iguaçu (Brazil), Ciudad del Este (Paraguay) and Puerto Iguazu (Argentina) have some Muslims. The Brazilian town, Foz do Iguaçu, has a famous Muslim community.

These Muslims won’t know what hit them when these Huggers for Christ come around. One does not do this in the Mideast. This is why I am convinced that, unless fortified by outside oil money, the Muslims in South America would be Christianized in one generation.

In the Mideast, Islam is enforced by a death penalty. Converts and Missionaries can be killed. In South America, Islam cannot compete freely with Christianity. Oh, yes! They will produce a few converts to Islam and Al-Jazeera will show up. What Al-Jazeera will not show you are the flood of converts to Christ.

This is an Evangelical Arab Church in Brazil.
They obviously have brought in converts from outside the Arab community, as well.
This is what Al-Jazeerea will NOT show you.

If Islam is sustained in South America, it is by outside money.

I think it is clear that outside money is rolling in or Islam would be almost extinct in South America by now.
