The PA Has A Trade Agreement with MercoSur

PA signs free trade agreement with Mercosur

MONTEVIDEO, Uruguay (Ma’an) — The Palestinian Authority signed a free trade agreement on Tuesday with South American trading bloc Mercosur.

Okay, this is old news I dug up, but it shows an attitude that South America has with the Palestinians. It is an official pro-Palestinian attitude that you would not see in the United States.

Mercosur is a South American trading bloc with includes Argentina, Brazil Paraguay, Uruguay, and Venuezuela.

I encourage you to visit her site. You will see how ubiquitous Arab Dance is in Latin America.

Another odd aspect: Is that she offers lessons to girls as young as five.

We Americans might see Arab dance as a bit too racy for five year olds.  The Arab-Latins see it as cultural though.

October 2012 – President of Lebanon Visits Uruguay

There are 70-90,000 Lebanese in Uruguay. About 2% of the population.

Very assimilated. Almost all Arabs in Uruguay are Lebanese Maronites.
