DOTD – 020 – Solange Cohen

Cohen is a Jewish name.

This is her Facebook Page: (Click Here)

Her Facebook About Page indicates that she is in Buenos Aires, but has a connection to Israel. She lists Tel Aviv in her Biography.

"Egresada del Instituto “Studio Elizabeth” Tel Aviv * IsraeL"

Argentina has a large Jewish community, and it shows that prevalence of Arab Culture in Argentina that a Cohen would take up Arab Dance.

DOTD – 019 – Arabé Sofia

I think this is coming from Uruguay. YouTube removed the country listing from the videos, so it is harder to tell. One has to search through the internet to see if the name comes up with a geographic location. I can’t be sure, but it looks like Uruguay.

Uruguay is only about 2% Arab. So this demonstrates that Arab culture has transcended into the South American mainstream.

DOTD – 018 – Little Egypts

I think this is coming from Ecuador, but I am not sure. Ever since YouTube changed its style, they no longer list the country of origin.

However, as you see, this is just some innocent children. The Latins look upon Arab Dance as a cultural statement.
