Though the poster of this video, Angélica Sanchez, may possibly be no longer associated with the troupe. Can’t say for sure. Maybe she is branching out, on her own.

You can hear the Arab Yodel during the dance.

Inaugural Program – Arab Dance School

Posted YouTube: May 10, 2017
Notice the parents in the audience!

Video of the inaugural program at an Arab Dance School in Ecuador.

This is the school’s Facebook page (Click Here)

She runs a school out of Quito, Ecuador.

Apparently, this is seen as a genuine respectable art form in South America. Personally, it seems a bit close to the risqué for me; but the Latins see this as purely art, and even instruct young ladies in it. The practitioners get very upset if someone equates this to anything else but serious art.

The prevalence of this in South America is indicative of the penetration of Arab culture into their mainstream. What should be noted is that would only come from Christian Arabs, who are the vast majority of Arabs is the Americas.

Muslim Arabs would kill any women of theirs who participated in this.

Again, notice how common place this is. Notice the mixed gender audience. It is seen as an art form.
